THE AMAZING MANTIS SHRIMP

 We all consider the ant to be a true heavy hitter, lifting weights 20 times its own body weight, hurrying around  building nests and tunnels without sleep but, if you consider that amazing just wait till you see this critter, The mantis shrimp.   The mantis shrimp unlike other shrimp in it’s family takes a much fearsome role as a predator This one is about to devour the snail, but she’s gotta crack open it first right??. She carefully positions her legs and punches the snail with its legs with the force of a .22 caliber bullet, yup you heard me right an aquatic organism that can punch and crack open a snail’s shell with the force of a .22 caliber bullet!!, it’s the fastest attack in the entire animal kingdom!!.   This shrimp is called a smasher. The other is called a spearer buried under sand ambushes and impales its prey using a blade at blinding speed and drags it into the sand!! A Good opportunity with some sort of luck  and the ability to use the opportunity is one of the great quality ones should ever have,Such is the story of John D. Rockefeller.The supreme court’s decision regarding the dismantling of the company into 34 parts as the standard oil produced is violating the federal laws and the value of the total of the 34 entities costs more than the single one which gave Rockefeller a good opportunity.

John D Rockefeller an American business magnate and philanthropist was born in a large and poor family in New York on July 8, 1839. He started as an assistant bookkeeper at the age of 16 and at the age of 20, he was concentrating his business on refined oil. Rockefeller founded the Standard Oil company in 1870 and he remained its largest shareholder till 1897.

Since Oil was used for the production of electricity in those days,the value of kerosene and gasoline grew up and standard oil produces the 90 % of all oil in the united states , this made him the richest man of America in those days.

After the decision of the supreme court ,the shares increased drastically making him the first billionare of the country with a fortune worth of nearly 2% of the national economy .

Rockefeller as an philanthropist spent his 40 years of retirement in defining the modern structure of philanthrophy along with the other industrialists. He used his richness in making of foundations that had a humongous effect on medicine, education ,research.The medical foundations which he formed became successful and went till eradication of hookworm and yellowfever diseases.

Rockefeller was also the founder of the University of Chicago and Rockefeller university and he also funded the establishment of central philippine university in Philippines .Rockefeller believes his religion as the driving force throughout his life and is the main key of success of his life .
